Police arrest Mavins Record artistes, DNA twins in Lagos

After so long without any vibes from Don Jazzy's Mavins Record, the label's artistes, DNA Twins have drawn some negative vibes towards the label by getting in a mess with some Nigerian policemen who got them arrested.

According to reports gathered by us, the twins were on their way to a show they were billed to perform when suddenly, the police stopped their vehicle for a routine search. But the twins were running late for the show and couldn’t afford to stop and be searched. Consequently, the duo sped off, leaving the policemen highly suspicious of them.

In a bid to discharge their duties honorably and serve their fatherland, the police launched out in a chase and it became more like a “police and thief” highway chase. It appears the driver on DNA's steering couldn’t play the thief to the end, thus being busted by the police. The duo was handcuffed and taken to the station for questioning.

In the end, they missed the show they tried to defy the law to attend and have added a dent to their name. The DNA twins were participants at the 2013 Glo X factor and were signed by Don Jazzy to Mavin records in February of 2017.
